Your agreement is with Simon Tomlins, trading as Boardpatch. Business information and contact details.
Your account
Accounts are for individual adult teachers or tutors. Keep your login secure and do not share it with colleagues. Children may use resources under adult supervision but must not create accounts. Do not enter identifiable, confidential or sensitive pupil information.
Email/password and signed-in Change password are available. Changing your email address is not available. We may ask you to confirm your email, sign in again or use your authenticator to protect your account.
Free outputs
A signed-in Free account receives five successfully issued clean outputs per London calendar month, shared across Boardpatch resources. After those five, you can continue generating outputs with a BOARDPATCH watermark at 50% opacity. Editing previews carry BOARDPATCH PREVIEW at 50% opacity.
Once an output has been successfully issued, it counts towards your allowance even if you close or cancel the browser print dialogue. Reopening that same issued output does not use another allowance. A confirmed failed generation is refunded or not counted.
Boardpatch Premium
Boardpatch Premium costs £2/month or £20/year, GBP, recurring until cancelled. Premium provides unlimited clean outputs subject to normal technical, security, fair-use/rate and document-size limits. Plan switching is not offered at launch. Premium and cancellation information.
Cancellation and refunds
Premium starts immediately after successful subscription. If you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing, you can receive a full refund, even if you have used Premium. We do not deduct anything for that use or ask you to waive your cancellation rights. Contact support@boardpatch.co.uk to cancel and request your refund; you do not need to give a reason.
You can cancel renewal at any time from your Account through the customer portal, or contact us for help. Normal cancellation stops the next renewal; Premium continues until the end of the period already paid for. Cancelling renewal in the portal does not itself request a refund: contact us if you want to use the initial 14-day refund option.
Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. Billing errors and duplicate charges will be corrected or refunded. Other refund requests will be considered fairly, case by case. Email support@boardpatch.co.uk with billing enquiries; never send card details.
Individual teaching licence
You may display tools and use resources with pupils you personally teach, including classroom teaching, home-learning activities and tutoring, and print reasonable quantities for those pupils.
Do not resell resources, upload them to public resource repositories, redistribute them to other teachers as a substitute for their own access, or use an individual account as a school-wide licence. Boardpatch does not currently offer school licences. Do not remove required credits/watermarks or bypass access controls. Third-party licences remain applicable; these terms do not remove rights those licences grant.
Content and teacher checks
Boardpatch owns its original material, not all artwork. Science images retain their individual licences and credits. Bank of England specimen banknotes remain subject to their reproduction conditions: preserve markings, proportions and reduced sizes.
Check questions, answers and resources for accuracy and suitability before teaching. Do not rely on Boardpatch for safeguarding decisions or upload pupil records.
Safe use and availability
Do not interfere with the service, automate excessive requests, attempt unauthorised access or use it unlawfully. We may take proportionate protective steps. Faults or maintenance may interrupt availability; statutory rights remain unaffected.
Deletion, rights and contact
Request deletion or help at support@boardpatch.co.uk. We verify deletion requests, revoke account access and stop future subscription renewals before completing deletion. Deletion does not remove your statutory rights or any refund entitlement. We retain only necessary restricted billing records as explained in our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Material changes will be explained before they apply where required.
