Storage in this application
boardpatch-auth-session-v1: local storage maintaining and refreshing your Supabase session. Treat it as sensitive and sign out on shared devices.boardpatch-analytics-consent-v1: local storage remembering your analytics choice and date for 180 days. An older storage-notice dismissal is not treated as analytics consent.boardpatch-guest-welcome-v1: session storage preventing repeated welcome messages during that browser session.- Place Value Counters (
maths-tools-place-value-counters-v02-1), Bar Model Builder (bar-model-builder-pages-v1) and Times Tables Arrays (times-tables-arrays-v1.1): local storage for your saved boards. These boards remain in the same browser on your device until you clear them or clear site data. They are not a Boardpatch cloud-account save and do not move between browsers or devices.
Browser-managed persistence varies. Clearing site data removes local entries and can sign you out; it does not delete server-side accounts, documents or billing records.
Images from Wikimedia
The Classification Key and Solar System tools make browser requests to Wikipedia and Wikimedia for image information and images. Wikimedia receives the network and request information needed to serve them. This is separate from Boardpatch’s local storage; see our Privacy Policy and Wikimedia’s Privacy Policy. Boardpatch does not use these requests for advertising or analytics.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you select Accept analytics. Reject analytics keeps it off. Cookie settings lets you change your choice at any time. Withdrawal stops future collection and removes accessible Boardpatch analytics cookies; it does not undo processing already completed.
After consent, _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish browsers and sessions. Boardpatch configures them to expire after 180 days without extending their lifetime on each visit. They are not needed for accounts, tools, payments or printing. We measure public pageviews, scrolls, tool interactions and successful printable generation. We do not automatically collect form interactions, search terms, outbound-link URLs or downloaded file names. Names, account details and worksheet content are not sent. Advertising features remain disabled.
Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention is set to two months, with resetting on new activity disabled. Aggregated reports can remain longer. These cookies and pseudonymous browser/device data are optional personal-data processing, not anonymous counting. See our Privacy Policy for Google’s role and international processing. Private account, sign-in, recovery and document-output pages are excluded.
